1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Modbus TCP Tool (“the Application”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Application.
2. Purpose of the Application
Modbus TCP Tool is a professional industrial communication utility designed to connect to devices implementing the Modbus TCP protocol.
The Application is intended for engineers, technicians, system integrators, students, and industrial automation professionals. It provides tools for reading and writing Modbus registers, monitoring industrial devices, diagnostics, register analysis, and industrial communication over local networks.
2.1 Demo Device
The Application includes a built-in Demo Device, an internal simulator provided solely for demonstration, evaluation, learning, and testing purposes. It does not communicate with external networks or hardware.
- Does not communicate with external hardware.
- Does not connect to cloud services.
- Does not exchange data with third-party systems.
- Operates entirely within the Application.
The simulator is intended only to demonstrate the functionality of Modbus TCP Tool and should not be considered a substitute for testing with actual Modbus TCP equipment.
3. License
Bitajon Systems grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application on Android devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Application only with devices you own or are authorized to access.
- Verify register addresses and values before performing write operations.
- Operate industrial equipment safely.
- Follow all applicable laws and regulations.
You acknowledge that commands sent through the Application may affect connected industrial equipment and are solely responsible for their use.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Application is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bitajon Systems shall not be liable for:
- Damage to industrial equipment.
- Production downtime.
- Data loss.
- Loss of profits.
- Business interruption.
- Personal injury.
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Application.
Always verify device configuration before executing write operations.
6. In-App Purchases
The Application offers optional Pro features through Google Play Billing.
- All payments are processed exclusively by Google.
- Refund requests are subject to Google Play refund policies.
- Bitajon Systems does not process payment information.
7. Privacy
The Application is designed with privacy in mind. No user account is required, no cloud synchronization is performed, and communication with Modbus devices occurs directly over the user's local network. The Application does not collect or transmit industrial communication data to Bitajon Systems.

8. Updates
Bitajon Systems may release updates, bug fixes, security patches, improvements, or compatibility enhancements at any time. Some features may change or be removed without prior notice.
9. Intellectual Property
The Application, including its source code, graphics, user interface, documentation, trademarks, logos, and design, is the exclusive property of Bitajon Systems. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Application except where permitted by applicable law.
10. Third-Party Trademarks
Company names, trademarks, and product names referenced within the Application or its documentation — including but not limited to Allen-Bradley®, Siemens®, Schneider Electric®, Modicon®, and others — remain the property of their respective owners.
These names are used solely to describe compatibility with devices implementing the Modbus TCP protocol and do not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or partnership with Bitajon Systems.
11. Termination
Bitajon Systems reserves the right to suspend, modify, or discontinue the Application or any of its features at any time without prior notice.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
